Privacy Policy

Last updated: 18 August 2026

Who this covers

This policy applies to timeyourpeace.com, operated by Amin Motin, based in the United Kingdom.

What we collect

  • Email address, if you sign up for the 3-Minute Meditation Pack or any future opt-in. Used to send the pack and occasional emails about new practices or articles.
  • Contact form details (name, email, message), if you use the Contact page. Used only to reply to you.
  • Basic analytics (Google Analytics 4), gated behind cookie consent. Used to understand which articles are useful, not to identify you personally.
  • Advertising data, because this site carries Google AdSense ads. What Google collects depends on your consent choice, described under Cookies below.

What we do not collect

  • No payment or financial information
  • No health or medical records — this site is educational, not a healthcare service
  • No client or prospect data belonging to any other business

Your rights

Because this site is operated from the UK, UK GDPR applies regardless of where you're reading from. You can ask, at any time, to see what data we hold about you, correct or delete it, or withdraw consent for emails (unsubscribe link in every email) or for analytics and advertising cookies (the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page). To exercise any of these, contact amin@timeyourpeace.com.

Cookies

Three kinds of cookie are relevant here.

  • Essential cookies, needed for the site to work at all. These cannot be switched off.
  • Analytics cookies, set only if you accept. Google Analytics 4 sets _ga (2 years), _gid (24 hours) and _gat (1 minute). If you refuse, Google Analytics runs in a cookieless mode that neither stores nor reads anything on your device.
  • Advertising cookies, set only if you accept. This site carries Google AdSense. If you accept, Google and its partners may set cookies to measure and personalise advertising. If you refuse, you will still see ads, but they will be non-personalised: based on the page you are reading rather than on a profile of you. Google's own controls are at adssettings.google.com.

Both analytics and advertising cookies are off by default. On your first visit you will see a banner with an Accept button and a Reject button, given equal prominence, and nothing is stored until you choose. Continuing to browse, scrolling, or dismissing the banner is not treated as consent. Until you accept, Google's tags load in a restricted mode that cannot store or read anything on your device.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time, as easily as you gave it, using the Cookie Settings link in the footer of every page. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage rather than in a cookie, so clearing your browser data resets it. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything that was lawfully processed before you withdrew it.

Third parties

Some parts of the site are provided by other companies, which may set their own cookies or receive your IP address when that content loads:

  • Google, for Analytics and AdSense, as described above. Google may process this data outside the UK. Its explanation is at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
  • BirdSend, which handles the email signup form and stores your address if you subscribe.
  • YouTube, on the few pages carrying an embedded video. These use youtube-nocookie.com, which does not set tracking cookies unless you play the video.
  • Amazon, on pages with affiliate book links. Following one sets Amazon's own cookies and may earn this site a commission at no extra cost to you.
  • Google Fonts, which serves the site's typefaces and receives your IP address in the process.

These are third parties in their own right, so their privacy policies govern what they do with the data.

Changes to this policy

If what this site collects or how it's used changes, this page will be updated first, with the date above reflecting the change.
